What an odd day this has been. Over-cast and hazy skies but no rain. A little seaweed on the beach but virtually nonexistent in the water. I think it’s all been collecting on El Zafiro’s beach - and no indication they’re doing anything to clean it up. No yachts in the bay but two cruise ships off and on along with the big red working boat.
And we’ve had no no inclination to do much of anything all day but that’s okay, too.
Like so many of us, I think Saba has decided this is a great time for a vacation. Wonder where she went. Barely saw it on Wednesday - just barely - but not at all since.
Didn’t feel like going anywhere or doing much of anything so had breakfast and lunch on our porch, along with our naps and our afternoon piña coladas. John spent a lot of time relaxing and watching the planes come and go.
Dinner tonight was at Mary’s Boon and was very, very good. According to our waiter they are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights only for now. We both had their rib eye steak with a mushroom sauce special and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection and much to our surprise we ran into a waiter - Leo - we’d known for twenty years from working at ANTOINE’S on Front Street so it was fun catching up with him.

Respectfully,

pat
