I am positive that the cruise ship will do better than a troop carrier. I have flown on C-130 from Cherry Point, NC to Ramstein, Germany with heavy head winds. 24 hours and 6 minutes - Good thing it was a KC-130. (The K is a tanker for refueling) Gas was not issue.
The trip I think offers a lot of opportunities to scout and just quality quiet time. We plan to use the SPA a lot. (one of our upgrades) I am hoping someone will chime in on how crowded these trips are. I have heard 30 to 60 percent occupancy - Is that true?
Now we just have to get the COVID done so we can travel.
A plea to everyone in the world - if you can... get the damn shot!
