It is here, but not as thick as it will be later in the season. Winds are east or southeast, so you can expect sargassum at the windward shorelines. The wind is blowing sargassum into Coral Bay and it has piled up occasionally along the shoreline from Cocoloba Plaza to the mangroves by the dumpster and Love City Mini Mart. This anaerobic bacteria are working hard and perfuming the downwind land areas with hydrogen sulfide (stinky sulfur smell). It happens this time of year consistently.
