Dutch side businesses to close 11pm-6am

All Dutch side businesses with permission to open at night will have condensed hours as of Sunday.

Based on the ministerial decree:

It is prohibited to have premises open to the public open between 11:00pm and 6:00am, which must in any case include:

a. Bars;
b. night clubs;
C. discotheques;
d. restaurants;
e. hotel bars; and,
f. spaces that are rented out for meetings, events and parties.

The prohibition referred to in the first paragraph does not apply to:

a. Hotels and lodgings, insofar as their own guests and staff are concerned, and;
b. land and buildings of the airport and of the seaports; or
c. Minister's decision

The Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications may, by decision, deviate from the provisions of Article II. effective from 23 May 2021.
