We just returned from a 10-day charter in the BVIs and wanted to mention a few interesting places we enjoyed, in addition to the usual excellent staples like the Baths, the Bight and Cane Garden Bay.

1) We stopped by Soper's Hole in a storm and were happy to find many open shops and restaurants. The Riteway was better stocked than our local Vermont grocery. Omar's Cafe was a welcome change from the regular breakfast fare with bagels and excellent locally ground coffee.

2) The floating spa in White Bay, Jost van Dyke was greatly enjoyed, including the underwater viewing window fitted below the massage table. Dale was lovely and gave a mean massage.

3) For our last night we wanted to be near Road Town, so we moored in Fat Hog's Bay. The Penn's Landing Marina had plenty of mooring balls and good onshore showers. The marina manager is Carris; he's happy to help with whatever you need. Dinner at the Red Rock Restaurant was delicious (yum, creme brulee) and service was excellent! Easy access to fuel and water.
