Such a different trip this far. I’ve seen and/or experienced more rain this trip than I think I’ve seen over all our previous trips over ever so many years but the funny thing is - it really hasn’t been problematic. It’s either happened late at night (which to us these days is anytime after 9:30pm) or early in the morning and was very short lived. The one time we saw afternoon rain it was heavy and continued for a couple of hours. The puddles on White Sands Road are more like lakes and the suctioning off of the water looks like it had never been done. The one usual flooding spot through Mullet has been wet but passable, too.

As of this morning the beautiful yacht Christina has pulled up anchor and headed to greener pastures, or perhaps that should read bluer waters? I’m really missing her lovely nighttime light show. But the working boats are still in the area off Simpson Bay Beach, and we did notice a couple of cruise ships heading into town this morning along with a few of the bigger yachts returning to the lagoon and awaiting the bridge opening. And yet another brief passing shower - enough to get everything wet and then the sun returned to dry it all up again.

Did the usual today - not much of anything - but it was all good. Dinner was at Fat Tony’s for their $20.00 steak night. It was pretty darned good and they cooked for a full house. The Anzalones, our next door neighbors have at BSV, joined us and a pleasant dinner was joined by all . AND THEN THE MUSIC STARTED……. Good but very loud!

Respectfully,

pat
