This report may sound a litte redundant to others posted by me as things don't seem to change much at Haulover. It is still a great 1/3 mile county sanctioned clothing optoional stretch of beach on North Miami beach. Stayed in South Beach and drove the 15 minute drive north to Haulover. Was there on a Sunday and a Monday. Of course, Sunday was packed due to it being a weekend and a nice hot day. Seem to get lots of groups on the weekends in addition to families, couples and a few singles, both male and female. I was there about 10am and the parking lot and the beach was already beginning to fill up. There is a chair/umbrella consession but the people who run it were late. Could not get a chair until about 11am. ( On Monday they never showed up at all.) People, for the most part are nice and well behaved. The "groups" seem to get a little loud some times but not too bad. Some obnoxious gawkers circling about but they did not
seem to stay long and there was not really that many in spite of the beach being in a major metro area and easily accessible. One interesting item of note. There was a group of topless young women that I and others noticed walking in to the water to cool off. When they came out they removed there bottoms and it was obvious that they were not completely female as they had male genatalia. Everyone in the area did a second take, but no-one paid much attention after a while. In south Florida you see it all.
Anyway had a good couple of days at Haulover and can't wait to get back. Let me know if you have any questions
