I don't think they want anyone anchoring inside the mooring field anyway....to protect the sea grass turtle habitat. Outside the mooring field is pretty deep. Most boats don't have enough chain to anchor out. Boaty Ball is probably the best option for Manchioneel Bay. There are some first-come balls there but they get taken early in the day.
