Breakfast in unit. Went to KKO in Orient Beach. Beautiful day. Karl still had his Eagles hat on. Saw Cyril “ beach guy”! KKO not like old days they said. Old days when ships were in it had 250 beach chairs now lucky to get 50 when 6 ships are in. We haven’t eaten at KKO in awhile. Do not like new chef. Still good to see old friends. KKO is going to close all of September. First time since Irma. Only the hotel associated with KKO keeps it above water. Staff does not seem happy. Miss old days pre Irma pre Covid. Island still not completely recovered. At RP about 60%, old days 90% occupancy. Well, on a better note! Went to Lee’s great time band and food was good. I had fish grilled in garlic butter sauce. My wife had coconut shrimp. Both as we remembered very good. Fun getting to Lee’s and leaving by car.
