Fortunately most of the beach fronts on Orient are on top of it. Yes, it stinks and it sucks to see it in the water. BUT, there are other beaches that don't get hit hard as Orient and Dawn beach. I will say this, we've traveled to other islands. I'm sorry, NO other island compares to St. Martin IMHO! Good luck finding it and the convenience getting there!
