It was indeed a place of beauty. Quite by chance one late morning we were walking into the main building and San Lord's Castle was sponsoring the Barbados Miss Universe Pageant to select the Barbados Contestant. We were asked to be two of the judges. It was an honor, fun, interesting plus as a judge, we had a free lunch. Truly a shame someone torched the place.
