Not even if our bags are all in the trunk? Are car break ins near SXM that much worse than in your average US city? Sorry if I'm being horribly dense. And yes, we travel light. 1 carry on & 1 personal item each. As Carol said, leave NOTHING in the car or trunk!! Period!! Unless your car is in sight ALL the time, anything left in it (including the truck) could easily be gone. It is not worth the risk.
