Hopefully one hour or less but it depends on how many other planes have arrived just prior to your plane. Retrieving luggage is the last thing you do before exiting the airport. I have had to wait on luggage in the past and I have had it waiting for me, it just depends on the number of flights, employees and the flow. I would allow 2.5-3 hours for your return flight. Better to be safe than sorry. Saturday is the busiest travel day and Sunday is probably second but nothing like a Saturday.
