I think the camera takes good pictures but today the water was choppy and churned the grainy in the pictures is due to the water being churned. I realize when you are 30 feet under water it is not churned.
The camera is waterproof for up to 100 feet. I will post some photos from the past that I think may pass your muster no disrespect.
