So we ended up booking (at a HUGE cost) a flight out of Philadelphia on Thursday. BUT Delta did not cancel our return flight so I can only make changes, not cancel that one. So I am locked into flying back into a different airport. This makes transportation a nightmare because we are 1.5 hours from JFK and 3 hours from Philly. So we are literally driving our car down to JFK on Wed, leaving it in long term parking so it's there when we get back, then pick up a rental car to drive to Philly and get a hotel so we are there for our Thursday AM flight! I can't believe Delta would cancel that flight for the next 4 days! I am only hoping my trip insurance gives me some compensation. JF1234 I am SO sorry about your charter. I will be giving serious thought to holiday travel ever again.
