I can’t speak to la play for lodging since I have not stayed there. For car rental,we also use Kenny’s car rental. It may not be the cheapest,but the service is first rate.
If you do stay at la playa,,or anywhere Orient village,you have many different food choices within a few minutes walk. Good luck.
