Oh, what a glorious morning, oh what a glorious day.

Good breakfast and bloody Mary’s at the SMYC. Fortunate to see a parade of catamaran’s and boats mooring out of the marina with the bridge opening at 8:30 AM. Equally lucky to see the mega yachts come inbound a little later.

Eggs Norwegian for me with hollandaise sauce on the side. I did not want the creamy dill sauce that comes with the lox version of eggs Benedict. Yummy roasted potatoes with sautéed onions and a diced green pepper are always tasty. You can substitute assorted chopped fruit instead of potatoes.

David almost never deviates from the Western omelette which he thoroughly enjoyed.

A beautiful beach day, sunny with light rolling waves in front of Beachside Villas. A light sprinkle mid-morning had us go to cover but it was short-lived.

Happy hour at Sandbar 5-7 pm then onward to Maho. We sat at high top so had option to order from either Mr. Chow or Roma. We chose to order from Mr Chow’s for happy hour appetizers and split an entrée. Then an Italian dessert. Marco advises that Roma is now open seven days a week.

Very enjoyable. Excellent service and happy to see many of the same staff who was there in October are still there now. We ordered chicken satay and tuna Tataki from the happy hour menu. The chicken satay was moist and flavorful with an additional peanut sauce if you choose to dip the skewers in. Tuna tataki was rich with Unami flavors.

We split the General Tso shrimp, which is the best I’ve ever had. We had it last year, the broccoli and shrimp are crispy and rich in flavor. This is a very good dish.

For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, so we did get something Italian. It was delicate and flavorful. One of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve ever tasted. No service charge added to check.

We valet parked at casino, which was convenient.

A perfect first full day.
