Man it is hard being back!!
We, once again had a great time in the BVI.
This was our first trip to CIBC and it was great. My wife wanted a small place with great food and friendly people. Cooper is all of that!
We did nothing all week but hang out on the beach drink cold Caribs and eat way too much!
About Cooper Island Beach Club- What to say? The food is really good. We had their special on several night and were never disappointed. The conch fritters were some of the best I've ever eaten!
The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helped us in anyway we needed it.
The rooms are not overly fancy but are everything we imagined, and the private porches with small table and chairs looking at the water were perfect. They are cleaned everyday (lightly) and with the ceiling fans and breezes we were always plenty cool.
The snorkeling was great. We saw turtles, barracuda, 100's of starfish as well as all types of the colorful tropical fishes.
We had reserved a 19' RIB for the 22nd to run over to the Baths and explore. Due to mechanical problems the boat was not available so that was kind of a let down. My only problem with Sail Caribbean Divers ( who we were to rent the boat from) is that they did not attempt to let us know anything about the mechanical problems until we showed up to pick up the boat at the agreed time on the 22nd ( the boats problems happened the day before). We had even put a deposit down 3 weeks in advance that I had to ask them to refund. I understand that the boat was reserved every other day by someone else but I still felt like we got slighted a little. But hey, I know, stuff happens!
Overall, Great trip and we will go back.For all the service, great food and privacy you get CIBC is a GREAT deal!
