Shocked to see the sudden influx of the dreaded weed at White Bay...sure to wreck local business. We had just a trace showing up on Little Apple in front of CRC on Tortola's North Shore right before I left..and the wind was shifting and I am sure that's what has driven it in there..sad..A driving force behind this is the clearing of forests in the Amazoin followed by million of tons of fertilizer for the new crops.When it rains heavily, as it does there, the fertilizer washes into the Amazon and , when it hits the tropical Atlantic it creates a massive super bloom that comes our way..and now all the way to Fla.A real ecological nightmare!
