Hi everyone, just return last sunday so sad to come back to reality but we have no choice.I will try to make this short
flight US-air on may 6th everything went very well.We were in SXM for 30 days exactly what a paradise. The weather was wonderful traffic was ok, the beaches were just gorgeous and Cupecoy was all there for the whole month sand and lots of sand the beach was like we saw it in 2002 beautiful Orient was as gorgeous as always,We went to Grand Case beach but did not like it as much as the others Pinel island for one day nice but would not return good for family with little kids water very shallow .Jewelery again, saw Deepti she is doing well.
Front street in repair they are redoing all the sidewalks in interlock some section close to traffic parking was a nightmare in that area had to park near the pond where Rima is good walk. Restaurants very good as always
went to le Moulin Fou the food was out of this world,
Mario's, La Rosa,La belle époque all very good and some other little restaurants also the Divi Resort restaurant very good breakfast Brunch. Bought a telephone calling card on front beware does'nt work got shafted for $20.00 we tried every which way and the card code was'nt working.
If you are staying at the Belair still very good service and well maintain but the the suite needs repair the 1st and 2nd floor have been refurbish we new furniture but not the 3rd and 4th floor.We also stayed at the Towers and it was very pleasant well maintain and the staff was awsome. For groceries the best place we found was Le Grand marché the produce are better then the other and the meat section also they carry angus beef. Security was very everywhere this year compared with last year more police, gendarmes , and security guard on the resorts we felt complety safe.
All an all the trip was a dream we enjoyed every minute of it and now we are planning for next year hope this was not to long and you will enjoy the info. Enjoy! Mariline
