Hey All!! I just wanted to let you all that this trip was great! As some of you might know, we've always gone in Feb for Valentine's Day, we have also only stayed on the Fr side. This time it was all different. Oct and Dutch!

I must say that we saved a TON of $$!! I mean thousands of dollars! This was a great start.

We found some great places to eat too. [color:"blue"]Halsey's, located across from the Royal Palm is a great spot. Classy, but not stuck up! For our anniversary, we ate at [color:"blue"]Temptation! This place is almost number one in my book!! This place was great! Drinks at [color:"blue"]Bliss are a must. This place has such an amazing atmosphere, it's also one of my favs. We had the VERY BEST steak pizza at [color:"blue"]BBB, although Neil was no where to be found. His staff was really great! I though my husband would pass out as the bartender told him to "help himself to the toilet"!! lol! [color:"blue"]Bamboo Bernies opened for sushi on Wed night (1st time for the season), so I made a reservation for 9 of us. It was awesome! Our waitress was this sassy thing from NYC and she was great! They have also fixed this place up and added a beautiful new bar and dance floor. It's a fun spot after 10 pm. Breakfast at [color:"blue"]Zee Best, a few time..the pear danish is the best ever!

We did the sunset cruise on the [color:"red"]Lambada, but the weather was so crazy. We did see the sunset, but we saw a ton more lightning! I have now named this the Lightning Cruise...way cooler than seeing the sunset, believe me!!

We did the Anguilla Trip, also on the [color:"red"]Lambada. Now I've done this trip 4 years ago on the [color:"orange"]Scoobie Doo and it cost more and the staff wasn't nearly as attentive as they were on this trip. I was impressed with them all.

We did Orient Beach and the Beach Boy at the spot we rented our chairs from , really gane it to us. We had 4 frozen drinks through out the day and he charged us $40.00 !! I was so mad, because I KNOW that at the top of the season, at the trendiest and most expnsive restaurants that a guavaberry coloda is not, and has never been $10.00 each. His name was [color:"brown"]Roman and he's at [color:"brown"]KoaKao. (sp? wrong I think) We won't go back there...ever.

OB itself was so quiet. We loved it. We saw a ton of places getting ready to open later on in the week, but most spots were closed.

The weather...It was what I expected for this time of the year. There were crazy thunderstorms almost everynight! The lightning was so impressive and added to the night time backdrop. Because of this, the sunsets were the best I've ever seen. Truly beautiful.

For the first time on vacation, my husband and I met some really great folks. We met a crazy couple from Fla, that I'm sure will be our good friends for life and we met another couple slightly older than us, but again, we know we'll be friends forever. Last but not least, we met "The Kids" as we all called them. They just got married and were on their honeymoon...cute, very cute!!

Due to this trip being as fantastic as it was, we ended up purchasing some points from the [color:"purple"]Sunterra group. It's a great program and will allow us to take between 2 to 5 vacations a year!!! Can't beat that. Plus, we're going back for a fre 10 day stay in Feb or March! It was worth the 90 min tour.

Leslie from Kenny's is amazing and is always there with perfect timing.

Oooohhhh, I almost forgot!! We were the VERY FIRST flight out of the new airport!!! Very exciting stuff here!
We left Friday at 3:40 pm. There is nthing open in the airport and I was very surprised to see that they actually were allowing us to walk around the place while so much construction was still going on, but it's really cool just the same. I couldn't wait to tell you all!!!

I wish I was saavy enough to add in my pictures...I'll try to post them on a different post.

I'll let you all in on a little secret..it was a lot easier to leave this time, knowing that we'd be back in less than 4 months.
