Not much is "like the old idea of the BVIs" but that is progress for you....I hated the idea when they built a resort on Saba Rock - but I go there regularly and have a great time. I hated when they redid all the shacks into fancy places like the Pirates and Cooper but then went there and had a great time and lamented the construction for years as I watched Scrub get built and then went there and had a great time. Yup it is def different than throwing your hook in Great Harbor and dingy to Foxys but as stated hanging over the edge of that pool w a drink in ur hand looking out at the SFDC is spectacular and beats sitting in my office in the winter. Plus they have a dive center there so my when I am with my son it is convenient. We dont go there every time but it is great when we do and everyone is super friendly.
