Reminds me of a scene from the movie
Vacation when Chevy Chase asks the mechanic how much it cost for the car repairs and the mechanic laughs and says "How much you got?".
Chevy says "No really".
Mechanic repeats, Chevy ends up giving him all his cash and says "What does your sheriff think of your business practices?" and the mechanic flip out his sheriff badge.
