Lambert has gone through so MANY transitions in the last few years.

Here's the bottom line: It's a great location for sheer beauty, and the rooms will have beds in them.
Beyond that, it will be a crapshoot...so make sure that you're getting a good price. Will the restaurant be open? Not sure. Will the power remain on? Maybe. Will the (very large and attractive) pool be swimmable? Maybe.

Lambert has been selling off its hotel accommodations as condos for a few years, so the 'mix' of occupants has changed. Some long-term visitors have found very reasonably priced homes there. And some have rented long term. That's not necessarily bad.

Just don't expect all of the services available that are advertised on the website.

And here's a heads-up: the cruise ship horde occasionally visits Lambert, and what can I say? Just leave when that happens!
