Depending on where you're going in Canada, we crossed a new bridge east of Niagra Falls (can't remember town) off Rte 81 . Name Ogdenburn sounds like it. Anyway, the agent joked with us that we found "the secret" to avoiding the backup at Niagra.
My point is, if your destination isn't the Falls but just getting into Canada someplace nearby try it.
