I will do my more detailed report but just wanted to hit the highlights...Going into the BVI we again used Dolphin water taxi. Greg is great, he was able to arrange for us to be on a BVI licensed boat so we went directly to Nanny Cay. The new taxi driver, Amir Bazzar was over the top great - cold beer, great service.. upon our return we contacted him again for the trips around STT. We rented the new Nautitech Fly 46, SV Free Spirit. She is a wonderful charter cat. The wind was light for our trip so this yacht was not ideal for sailing, the boat is set for charter with a small self tacking jib and of course with the high bridge deck. No question with a different sail package it would be better. To have 8 people party on the upper deck, awesome. We did a new stop at VGYH and dinner at the Tree House. We pre-ordered our dinner and it was great. The steps going to the top set the mood, Raymond and TJ did great. We met some great new friends from MN and crossed paths 3 x during the trip. Everyone enjoyed the overnight at Scrub Island, Jon at Horizon did great for check out and check in. The new FLY 46 had some things which were still being worked out but for a 2017 yacht the mechanical and stereo were great. More to come.
