I saw this article the other day regarding this man's books, which I have not read. I know there are several other SXM related books out there. Any recommendations for ones people have read and enjoyed?

Interesting. I just purchased this for $1.50 on Amazon Prime for my Kindle. I recall reading a paperback years ago that was set on the island near Oyster Pond. Does anyone recall what I read? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Could it be either of these books Wet Feet: Sex, Life and Murder in the Caribbean or Island Ice: Dazzle, Danger and Deceit in the Caribbean by B.D. Anderson.
Or there is an author T. Stelma that wrote 3 books Happy Bay, Cole Bay Band and Sandy Ground though based on the titles not about Oyster Pond.

Gone Bamboo by Anthony Bourdain. I was in the restaurant world for many years and have read all his industry related books. I believe my wife bought this book for me years ago and it remained unread until 2 years ago when I grabbed it off the shelf to bring to the island. I had NO idea it was set in St. Martin and was just soo excited to read it while there. Not great but I did find it amusing. I enjoyed it more than the James Patterson novel left in our studio in October. That was one of the worst...

Thanks for the information! I ordered Kindle Gone Bamboo and 4th Horseman. I will be reading them on the trip down in May or June. Can't wait to be on island again.
