So I'm told that is another cottage being built on the beach. Can't imagine staying in that with the daily hordes.

The very reason that we have not been there for 15 years - and plan to make it much longer.

You can escape the hordes at Ivan's and even Hendo's gives some relief as they just seem to jam up in front of the Soggy Dollar....also better down by Seddys at the other end..

We connected my laptop to our TV last weekend and watched the Soggy Dollar webcam on the big screen - ha ha!
Agree with others: have a painkiller at Soggy and then walk to Hendo's for lunch or Ivans.

Looks like some kind of platform or stage has been built on the left side of the area shown on the webcam

Does anyone know for sure what it will be? HillsideView, you heard it may be a cottage. It'd be amazing if it were a stage!?!?! I know it's crazy busy but after the day-trippers leave, it is spectacular and even with lots of people, it's so beautiful! Plus, everyone is pretty dang nice... so nothing to complain about in that beautiful <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />paradise smile

They are having the Love City Country Music Festival. We happened to be there last year for this event.

It was crowded, but we had a fun day. I'm not a country fan, but the 2 bands we heard where not country, they where really good.
