A story in the St. Maarten newspaper (which is not currently available online), says that there will be in increase in airlift to STT in the near future. Spirit has announced they will be doing daily flights from Ft Lauderdale, as of 3/10. Delta will resume daily flights from NY to STT, as of 5/24. Jet Blue will add a second daily flight from SJU to STT from 2/15. (I believe this is a codeshare flight, but not sure). And Jet blue will have daily flights from Boston to STT, via SJU, from 2/15 to 5/1.

In addition to the NY to STT flight starting late May, Delta is up-gauging service on the non-stop ATL to STT route starting April 3. Daily service up-gauged from 737-700 (108 seats) to 757-200 (199 seats). Plus an additional flight on Saturdays ATL-STT. Our islands are coming back baby! banana
