Word is US customs is opening a temporary check in for yachts and small boats at the “Creek” in St John by the first of May. Does anyone know if it’s open yet?

Any word on processing the ferries at St. John? We are coming mid-June, doing a few days on St. John before heading over to Tortola to start the charter. As of now it seems like we would have to go back to Red Hook.

Thanks,
Rick

I just exchanged text messages with a buddy who is a captain on St. John. His exact response was... "Customs hasn't opened yet and God knows when that will happen. They are moving slow." He grew up on St. John and typically knows a lot about what is going on, so this is not great news. We will be visiting St. John from the BVI at some point on our trip in the second half of June. He says it is best for us to make an appointment with the office in Red Hook to clear.
