Can anyone explain the comment about Xmas in July concerning the PR navy. I just assumed that some were always in Leverick as well as other BVI anchorages in any given weekend.

The Christmas in July thing is July 25th which is six months from Xmas - the PR navy are about 50-100 boats that go to pond bay - near Savanaaha and party for the week - they tie the boats together bring in a supply boat of beer and rum and often have a band or music of another sort and party hearty - great people.
