We spent the last week in May at the Peninsula condos, great view of the ocean, a fairly secluded area. We ate in the "zona romantica" in the evening, very enjoyable. We can recommend El Barracuda, right on the beach and good prices. Cafe olla was picturesque with a beautiful courtyard. Our wives recognized Curtis Stone and Lindsie Price dining next to us, they were friendly. Also we ate at Pipi's, more of a party place, alathough there guacamole was made right at our table and it was the BEST! They sell a shirt there" I love Pipi's', but our wives didn't want to wear one. Daiquiri Dick was our next stop, had a great red snapper there, it is the house special. Good trip!

When I went to school they told us Puerto Vallarta was in Mexico. Has something changed?

To the OP, we also really enjoyed El Barracuda!
