According to friends of Club O FB page.

This is awesome. he will be set for awhile with 100 new. He has probably between 100-200 already. Who knows. We sat in a few with a broken strap or two which made no difference really. But, now he will be set. Umbrellas to it says. We had brand new ones when we were there. So this might help relegate the blues and greens to backup.

Wooohooo. I thought about buying these ourselves. The good news this keeps the relationship up between buyer and seller.

Strange to hear Club Orient Resort ordered the chairs and umbrellas for the beach. I originally thought cedric bought the chairs and umbrellas from the profits he is making on the rentals?

Where does it state the resort bought the chairs and not Cedric?

Yes, I can confirm that a group of Owners got together to fund the new chairs and a tractor so Cedric and his team can keep the beach tidy.

Are the chairs still from Mi-Lor Casual?

That is who has supplied the chairs in the past. Only reason I ask is the company is in my wife's family. If one flIps a chair over they will be able to see the name of the company.

Id bet they are. Ive looked into buying from them. Afew more years back it looked like they were more interested in smaller orders from individuals and the website now doesnt say no but is geared to commercial bulk it seemed.

May still try when my current fleet of 8 loungers croak.

I bought 2 from them last year. They were a pleasure to deal with.

The company was started by my wife's late aunt and uncle and is now run by their son, Mike. The name "Mi-Lor" was derived from the two children, Mike and Lori. They have been around a long time. My wife's brother's spouse started a similar business in NC and has stayed really busy.

Cool. I bet there is a market for a “club O special”. 2 chairs and yellow umbrella for $X. Not sure where they get the strong umbrellas?

No idea if they get the umbrellas from them or not but I know for many years Mi-Lor supplied the chairs and hopefully still do.
