Preparing for a trip back to sxm after a 5 year absence. Have been to many of the beaches but never to Anse Marcel, where do we park? Is there umbrella rental? Thanks

Yes there is parking up and over a giant hill to get there. Parking near the beach . Chair rental depends if resort is open???

Chairs are available at the restaurant, yes.

What resorts are open at Anse Marcel? Last January it was essentially a ghost town.

No resorts are open there, as far as I know. Just Anse Marcel Beach Restaurant.

Carol is right. There may be some people in the rooms at the Rio but they have the entire beach fenced off near the still standing building. We did not venture down that way as it looked to be decimated.
Anse Marcel Beach Club still fantastic.
