Breakfast on lanai. Watched dolphins jumping in front of the condo. Headed to Philipsburg to find beach shoes for hubby. His strap tore. Shoes for him a top for me and left because it was too crowded. Never found Rima.
Headed to Le Taitu for lunch. Pleasant surprise $18 usd for wine, plat of day (several choices) and coffee. Hubby chose the fish. It came with salad and rice. I chose linguini with salmon in a basil cream sauce. We each had white wine. Of course we had to add dessert. He had cafe lisoise: coffee ice cream drizzled Kailua and whipped cream in a very tall ice cream soda type glass. I had chocolate cake. Even with added dessert the bill came to$48. A bargain for sure.
Stopped at market (forgot name. Used to be Fresh Market) in Madam Estates for milk, then back to condo pool until 5 when Air France departed.
Drinks and a salad even though we were still full from lunch. At around 8:30pm I remembered the Jump Up. Pleaded to go see it since I had never seen before. We drove just to the round about end of airport and parked. Luckily because traffic was backed up beyond sight. We had parked facing out and just drove off toward Maho. Traffic was backed thru Maho.
Interesting concept, people dancing to thumping music. five trucks of bands. I couldn’t figure out if they all played the same song or different ones. I could still hear the pounding long after we had gone to bed.
So ended another day in paradise.

Where is Le Taitu? Cul de sac?? Sounds like a good deal! Carol - This is from the French restaurant thread: Le Taitu is on Mont Vernon road. Go left at round about at hope estate then right on road to Mont Vernon. . Lovely setting, dinner excellent with great homemade soups. Cozy . The owner will greet you. Very good value for your money.

You won't be sorry you ate there. If you don't like it I'll reimburse the price of your food. Not the wine though. Just yours & Eric's not everyone's on TTOL.😁 Highly recommend the coconut flan.

The directions are from Marigot area. If coming from orient bay area then go right at round about then right onto Mont Vernon road. I should have said that in case people don't know area.

Jeepers--thanks for the offer, don't know that we will get there for sure. Why not wine though??? Was looking forward to a really nice OLD Bordeaux!! Too many restaurants, too little time!

Carol we have been goi g there since it opened in’93 either lunch or dinner. Basic delicious foods. Their French offerings are better than the creole. And you can not beat the prices.

It's possible we went there a long time ago, but not for quite a while.
