Saw a bunch of red and green ones on a barge in Trellis this afternoon. They appeared to even be working on Sunday! Another barge has a pile of long concrete things. Are those the moorings for the channel markers?

I’m not sure, they are using more than 1 vessel.

White Bay and Cane Garden Bay were still missing their channel marker on the reef as of last week

Both entrances to White Bay have 1 marker as of Sunday (center entrance has the red can and east entrance has a green can) and Cane Garden Bay has the green marker. If you stay close to the correct side of any of those markers you should be fine entering either bay.

No storm, just the heavy winds. I think they gusted up to 10 mph.

The Cane Garden Bay markers were restored yesterday. Please be aware, however, that they will not match your chart or plotter and you should no longer pass on the wrong side of the red marker. Many boats used to do that and there was plenty of room before but now the red marker is on the edge of the reef instead of in the old channel area. Also, there are now 2 green markers instead of 1 and I think they are in new locations.

Anegada now has 2 inner red and green channel markers as you are headed towards Anegada Reef Hotel. Should help keep boats off the reef west of Government Pier.
There is also a new buoy just north of Mosquito Rock. Note that the outer red buoy at Colquhoun Passage is still missing and is marked using a bunch of fish floats.
