I really don't know the political motivations one way or another, but frankly, I think that businesses should be closed on Christmas. In SXM and in the US.

Local business in Sint Maarten has no choice.
So if you want to open, you cannot.
That is what this is about. Lot's of visitors,
lot's of vendors that want to work.
No. I disagree. There should be no decree from
Government that business needs to shut down on Christmas Day.
