I understand the desire to encourage local workers, but as I said, the execution, to require government officials to sit in on interviews, and possibly nix hires, is just crazy..

SXM Labour laws have always been pro employee anti employer. Hard to dismiss employees and promotes a mostly don’t care labor force for those that want to play the Gov system. Its a joke compared with most parts of the world that wants to grow there country and economy cause investors shy away for that kind of mess. Another example of backwards thinking 🤔 imo Exactly!
