Good morning. I was just checking the webcam on St. John, as I do every morning for my daily dose of happiness, and saw many soldiers in full gear coming off the ferry. Is this a common occurrence or is there something special happening? I thought maybe they go there to perform certain exercises. Anyone know - maybe they are there for some much needed R and R.

Possibly a National Guard exercise? They are a fairly common sight around. I see them once a month running at the national park road near Red Hook. The armory is on the east end of St Thomas.
