My wife and I are thinking about going to Roatan in January. Want to stay at either the Paradise Oceanic Hotel or the Paradise Beach Hotel. Any input on either of these hotels, positives or negatives. Renting a car? Yes? no? We do travel a fair bit and realize anything can happen anywhere at any time, but what is the general safety of the island like? Place to book zip line tour with? There are many to choose from. Any other input, positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
