My very favorite food is Caribbean lobster. When cruising in the Grenadines there was plenty of lobster to be had not only at restaurants but also via boat boys who would come by and sell it to you. In the BVI, it wasn't as plentiful (same time of year). Anyone know if you can get it in the SVI in December and where?

Lobster has been overfished in most of the more populated areas of the Caribbean. I suspect that is true of PR, but I can't tell you for sure.

Lobsters are plentiful in PR and the SVI
purchase a small spear gun or make a snare and snorkel on the outside of the reefs, you should be able catch your dinner within an hour.
Spearguns are legal for fishing in PR, just make sure your not in Park waters. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />
