We're considering travelling to St. Maarten from Canada in July 2021. That still seems like an eternity from now but let's assume today's rules are still the same then (let's hope they are not). Am I to understand that my 7 and 4 year old children would not need a test prior to the trip? Only my wife and I would need to provide a negative test?

As of NOW, no testing for children under 10. But please make sure you check for updated requirements, closer to your time of travel.
