Alaska Airlines blocks the middle seat in the premium coach seats. It is nice to have the space.

That's great....and most flights are not filled right now so it works both as a safety issue and a draw for those not wanting to face the potential of someone right next to them

Yes. That is why we booked Premium seats for out upcoming Palm Springs trip. Booked them on way down but booked FC on way back. Strange as it seems FC was cheaper than adding Premium to our economy ticket.
