Just returned from our first extended stay on St Martin. We had a beach front duplex room at the Alamanda Resort at Orient, very nice but very french we did have a very nice time at the village there.

a few trip highlights;

Pub Prowl on the Celine, Our hostess Mia and captain Neil showed us a very good time, we visited Lai, Peg leg pub and Turtle peir, plenty of great food and lots to drink!!

Friday farewell catamaran tour on the Golden eagle, for $99 we sailed around the island stopping at Tinitimere for mud treatments and relaxing on the beach. Creole rock for some easy snorkeling, Grand Case for lunch at one of the reasturants, and a swimming stop at the Sambailla (sp) beach. Lots of snacks and drinks were even floated out to us while we swan . We arrived back to Bobby's peir around 5:30. What a great Day.

Bikini Beach and Oreint is always great never got to busy, started out on 3/29 cool rained monday but every day got better and better.

Hertz rent a car, easy no problems.

Tropicania reasturant in Marigot, best french meal all week.

Peg Leg Pub in Simpson bay, best non french food. we had sword steak and fliet Mignons yummy.

On the down side, traffic sucked in town ,
The 3 reasturants we ate at in Grand Case were disapointing.
The french seem to enjoy quietly conversing in french with a bottle of wine at the corner cafe
