Can anyone shed some light on how charters companies in Key West work?

Our family has always sailed with the Moorings in the BVI. I know Sun Sail and Mooring operate together with Sunsail having the older Moorings boat.

I have asked Dream (same as Navtour) to quote me cat bareboat options and they came back with a Lagoon 50 avail at the end of July. I also asked The Catamaran Company to send me avail and they also indicated a Lagoon 50 with the exact same dates as DYC but a little cheaper.

Who is really operating/maintaining this boat? Who will be providing support for the boat? The Lagoon 50 is at Stock Island.

Any suggestion on what other companies to check that might have a lower price?

Thanks
Jane

There is a FB page, Key West & Florida Keys - Ask the Locals, you may get an answer there. Hope this helps.
