Caneel Bay Yesterday was day 1 of our trip. We got off the dock at 11am and headed straight to Caneel Bay. We got the last mooring, but moorings opened up off and on throughout the afternoon. The cove right next to us had about five mooring balls that were never used (Scott beach-according to the chart). So this is a great place to come if you can’t arrive first thing in the morning. Caneel Bay is absolutely beautiful! We took the dinghy around to Cruz Bay in the late afternoon had a fun happy hour/dinner at High Tide after a little bit of local shopping.

Maho Bay We motored into the wind to Maho Bay, and there were plenty of mooring balls. Even tonight, about 2/3 of the mooring balls are occupied. The entire crew loved Maho! The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling was fantastic—we saw 4 large turtles and the all had remoras attached to the-so cool to watch!!

Last night was at Leinster- about 8 moorings available the entire time. Tonight we are at Great Lameshur Bay, and there are still 6 mooring balls empty here. Salt Pond Bay was full, so we just came on to here. We are so happy that most the anchorages are not full!!
