All the guesses have the wrong Continent so far. Should I give the answer to this one and then post a different one for which I can provide some useful follow-up clues?
Based on the dates I'm pretty sure the conversation is with Oscar Wilde. But I have no clue where the art piece is located. Since he died in France, I'll guess Paris?
ndfan, not to hijack the thread but our grandson lives near you, he's in Mooresville. Pit crewman for Penske Racing. We're further north and east. Just west of Chapel Hill about 30 miles...for now.
OK, back to the game.

Engraved on this bench one will find this quote from Oscar Wilde's play, Lady Windermere's Fan
Quote
“We Are All In The Gutter But Some Of Us Are Looking At The Stars” – Oscar Wilde
This sculpture caused outrage back in the late 90s. It is only a short walk from the National Gallery.... Where you ask... Why London of course! The Charing Cross Station is a block away.

Fran, if you have never been to Penske's race shop, go. It is a really cool setup. Being on the pit crew is tough work. He is obviously not a little man! Kannapolis is a great town. It is evolving from a mill town to a biotechnology center. It has been interesting watching this town transform and grow over the 20 years we've lived here.
Syd has done an amazing job with that place. The bar is absolutely gorgeous. The view from the seating area is spectacular. Like you Fran, I am completely out of pics. All my Cow Wreck pics are too obvious for you seasoned travelers.
I think the game has reached the final act. We have all reached the bottom of our photo albums
I started this photo journey many months ago when none of us could travel and were dreaming of new places to see. I wanted people to see and experience places they may want to discover for themselves in the future or bring back great memories.
The germ is not done, especially worldwide, but I truly believe the tide is changing and we will all be able to travel again soon. Hopefully it will involve travel to some of the places we discovered in this game! The pictures taken will be put in a new photo album/folder and we can start the game again in the future.
It has been fun.

Agree Tom. As much as I enjoy the photos, the game, and learning new places, it looks like we will need a hiatus for a while. I know we have a trip planned next month and I would imagine others have plans as well. Maybe we can restart in a couple of months.
