I think it rained early this morning. It’s so windy on the Great Bay side of Divi I can’t tell what’s hitting the windows. Little bit of clouds now and very hazy, not an island in sight on the horizon.
Dinner last night was at Isola—risotto, rack of lamb and pappardelle in a mushroom and sausage ragu. Service and the meal were excellent. Brief visit to Hollywood to say hello to Gloria and make a donation. The casino was not crowded and they were doing a good job sanitizing each machine after use.
Our children went to Grand Case for dinner. I haven’t heard a complete review but my daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed their Turbot for two. No curfew issues but they did say parking was a challenge.
Some are off exploring scuba diving options, others looking for a boat to possibly charter and the rest of us are enjoying the peace and quiet at the beach.
Start of another good day. Pretty boring stuff but that’s what we love.

Boring is good!! We've never eaten at Isola. Guess we should try it sometime. I just am not a big fan of Italian on island. Where did you park? Are they doing valet parking at Hollywood? I was surprised when we were there in June, they were NOT doing valet at Casino Royale..

When we were there in December, we did a private catamaran charter with Eagle Tours over by the Greenhouse in Pburg. We had a great time!

Yes, you can valet at Hollywood and have dinner at Isola. We have not been over to Casino Royale yet. I think my husband will be the valet if they are not offering it. .

Huh, that's interesting. Definitely no valet available at CR as of June 20. They said it was because of Covid.

The haze and missing islands are due to heavy Sahara dust surrounding us for quite some days. Scratchy eyes, throats. Think I've seen one almost blue sky in a couple of weeks. Saba was a shadow one day.
But the water is still turquoise and warm!

Sounds like a perfect SXM vacation to me.
Continue to enjoy your island time with your family and share with us as you can. You know how we all enjoy and appreciate the trip reports of others until it’s our turn again.
Respectfully,
pat

Sounds wonderful! Isola is one of our favorites, the first time we went there they had a Chilean Sea Bass special, which was out of this world.
We haven't been to the beach, here at home, since it has been so hot or raining. Enjoy those beautiful beaches!!
