WOW! That’s too bad and I can’t help but wonder how some of the other beaches fared……

I was thinking the same thing. Like Divi and Flamingo/SBR's beaches. I imagine Maho took same hit.

Just looked at the Maho beach can. Sand pretty much gone.

My first thoughts were of Maho, Bourgeaux (sp?), Mullet and Cupecoy. We were told the waves were slamming on the more exposed beaches but I never thought of Great and Little Bays being hard hit. When they built the beaches at Pelican/SBR and Flamingo, didn’t they create some sort of small barrier reef for just such reasons? Hope all is good and of course, we hope that what the big waves take away they ultimately will give back.

Remember, this portion of beach was man-made for the construction of the boardwalk. Mother Nature has a way of getting even sometimes.
