Aside from my post on the air traffic controller thread.....
Lazy day. Stopped at the card shop in Simpson Bay to buy a used book because money goes to animal shelter.
Dined at Skip Jacks. Hubby had fish and chip, I had grouper . We both started with delicious, although too much cheese onion soup.
Great conversation at happy hour ( see my entry on ATC thread). Gentleman there from the Netherlands discussed how compensation was made to the people of Dutch SXM. This was mostly with the owners of the Toad. Then we discussed Mullet Bay and Ansury...not sure of his name. This man seemed to know a lot about the workings of the island. Even down to the amounts paid workers and fact that if of a places workers rejected the the offer then none got it.
But all this must be boring to you guys.
